Ghanaian actor and filmmaker Jeffery Nortey has paid an emotional tribute to actress and businesswoman Beverly Afagblo following her passing after a reported two-year battle with cancer.

In a message shared on Facebook, Nortey reflected on their professional relationship, noting that they had worked together in multiple productions where Afagblo played roles including his on-screen mother and wife.

He recalled moments of laughter they shared on set and described her as someone who carried warmth, strength, and grace.

He also expressed that Afagblo had a calm presence that made her seem timeless, adding that she consistently displayed elegance both on and off screen.

Nortey stated that her “pain is over” and that she is now at peace, extending condolences to her family, loved ones, and all who are grieving her loss.
