A/R: ISD Ashanti receives 4 cinema vans to boost public information outreach
The Information Services Department (ISD) in the Ashanti Region has received four cinema vans fitted with LED screens from the government to support its public education and information dissemination efforts.
The vans form part of the department’s mandate to explain government programmes, promote national events, and collect public feedback to inform policy decisions.

Ashanti Regional Director of the ISD, Mr Charles Nkrumah, told Kumasi FM’s Elisha Adarkwah that the new vehicles are intended to improve outreach across the region.
He noted that previously used vehicles frequently broke down, affecting the department’s operations. As a result, the ISD relied on social media and information centres to carry out its work.
Mr Nkrumah said the addition of the cinema vans will strengthen the department’s capacity, enabling it to broadcast live events, including presidential addresses, directly to communities.
He added that the department remains committed to ensuring effective communication of government policies and programmes to the public.
