The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), through its Education Financing and Partnership Initiative (EFPI) unit, made a strong showing at this year's edition of the Kwahu Business Forum, reinforcing its commitment to innovative education financing and strategic partnerships.

The three-day event, officially launched by President John Dramani Mahama, brought together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors to explore opportunities for national development.

The President’s message of assurance and long-term commitment highlighted the forum’s growing importance as a platform for business and investment dialogue.

A major highlight for GETFund was the President’s visit to the EFPI exhibition stand, where the team presented its partnership-driven financing models aimed at supporting education.

Among the initiatives showcased was a digital “scan a QR code” option that allows individuals and organisations to contribute directly to education funding.

The engagement generated significant interest among participants and enhanced GETFund’s visibility within Ghana’s evolving business and investment ecosystem.

President Mahama also reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting the growth of the Kwahu Business Forum into a leading platform for business development, investment promotion, and multi-stakeholder engagement.

The initiative aligns closely with GETFund’s mandate to mobilise sustainable financing for education through strategic partnerships, as the Fund continues to explore innovative approaches to support the country’s educational development.
