Civil Service Council visits Defence Ministry to strengthen collaboration
The Civil Service Council has extended its familiarisation visits to the Ministry of Defence as part of efforts to bridge the gap between administrative leadership and frontline public service staff.
The delegation, led by its Chairman, Lawrence Kannae, engaged with the Deputy Minister for Defence, Ernest Brogya Genfi, as well as top management and representatives of junior staff at the Ministry.
The visit aimed to provide the Council with first-hand insight into the Ministry’s operations, while identifying key challenges and opportunities within the Service.
It also served as a platform to strengthen collaboration and improve service delivery.
Dr. Kannae commended the high level of discipline among civil servants at the Ministry and urged them to maintain professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
For his part, Hon. Brogya Genfi praised staff for their performance and reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to deploying its human and logistical resources toward national development.
