Energy Minister participates in NPA breakfast meeting with downstream petroleum CEOs

The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, has participated in an exclusive breakfast meeting organised by the National Petroleum Authority for Chief Executive Officers and key stakeholders within Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector.

The engagement provided a platform for industry leaders, regulators, and government officials to deliberate on ongoing policy reforms, industry growth, operational challenges, and collaborative strategies aimed at strengthening the country’s downstream petroleum industry.

Addressing participants during the meeting, Dr. Jinapor commended stakeholders for their continued partnership with government and their commitment to ensuring stability, growth, and progress within the petroleum sector.

According to the Minister, the discussions were constructive and insightful, reflecting a shared commitment among stakeholders to build a resilient and forward-looking downstream petroleum industry capable of supporting Ghana’s economic development.

He further reiterated government’s commitment to working closely with industry players to implement reforms that will improve efficiency, sustainability, and long-term growth within the sector.

 

The meeting formed part of broader efforts by the National Petroleum Authority to deepen stakeholder engagement and enhance collaboration across Ghana’s petroleum downstream industry.
