GFZA marks Servair Ghana’s 15 years of operations under Free Zones Scheme
A delegation from the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) has joined Servair Ghana, a member of the Gategroup, to celebrate its 15th anniversary as a Free Zones enterprise.
The team, drawn from GFZA’s Corporate Affairs, Public Relations and Aftercare Department, paid a courtesy call on the company on April 14, 2026, to commemorate the milestone and engage management on its operations and future plans.
The delegation was led by Patience Agbleze Acorlor on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of GFZA, Dr Mary Awusi.
They were received by the Managing Director of Servair Ghana, Olivier Briot, and his management team, who expressed appreciation for the Authority’s continued support in facilitating the company’s growth and operations.
Mr. Briot indicated that the company, which currently employs 157 staff and operates on a 24-hour basis, is exploring expansion into the offshore oil sector as part of its growth strategy.
During the visit, Dr. Acorlor commended Servair Ghana for its contribution to Ghana’s economic development, highlighting its role in job creation, export earnings, and support for local agriculture through the sourcing of foodstuffs.
She also noted the company’s impact on strengthening the aviation and tourism sectors.
Over the past 15 years, Servair Ghana has built a reputation for resilience and consistency, delivering world-class catering services within the aviation industry.
GFZA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting enterprises operating under the Free Zones Scheme to expand and enhance Ghana’s industrial growth and global competitiveness.
The delegation included Senior Manager Bilal Muazu Sulemana, Manager Elike Adjei, and other officials from the Authority.
