NSA releases postings for 18,416 trained teachers for 2026/27 service year
The National Service Authority (NSA) has released postings for 18,416 trained teachers for the 2026/27 national service year.
In a press release dated April 22, 2026, the Authority announced that the postings cover eligible trained teachers who successfully graduated from accredited Colleges of Education.
According to the statement, affected individuals are required to visit the Authority’s website via and click on the portal to access their places of posting. They are also expected to follow the stated procedures to complete regional validation.
The NSA indicated that the national service period for the 18,416 trained teachers will begin on Monday, May 4, 2026.
It further stated that the regional validation exercise commenced on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, and will end on Friday, May 15, 2026. Prospective personnel have been urged to complete the validation process within the stipulated period.
The Authority also reminded the public that under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), every Ghanaian citizen aged 18 years or older who has completed an accredited tertiary institution, including universities and teacher training colleges, is required by law to undertake national service.
