O/R: Guan MP inspects projects and engages traditional leaders during constituency visit
The Member of Parliament for the Guan Constituency in the Oti Region, Fred Agbenyo, has conducted an inspection of ongoing construction works and equipment being used for development projects in the constituency.
During the visit over the weekend, Mr. Agbenyo assessed the progress of several projects currently underway and also reviewed the condition of construction equipment available for use in the district.
According to the MP, some of the equipment requires major repairs, and he has pledged to ensure that they are fixed and restored to good working condition as soon as possible.
“As part of efforts to accelerate development, we inspected ongoing works and some of the equipment at our disposal. Unfortunately, some of them need major repairs, but I have promised to get them back into good condition as soon as possible,” he said.
Mr. Agbenyo also used the opportunity to engage with chiefs and elders in the constituency, holding discussions on the progress and development priorities of the district.
He described the engagements as productive, noting that collaboration with traditional authorities remains key to advancing development initiatives in the area.
The MP added that the inspection and consultations formed part of his continued efforts to monitor projects and strengthen cooperation with community leaders to improve infrastructure and overall development in the constituency.
