Tema Oil Refinery reaffirms commitment to excellence at 2026 SIGA Stakeholder Conference
The Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery, Edmund Kombat, has reaffirmed a strong commitment to restoring the refinery to full operational strength and excellence.
Speaking at the 2026 Stakeholder Conference organised by the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), Mr Kombat emphasized that the engagement comes at a critical moment for the refinery.
He noted that the discussions and outcomes of the conference have reinforced his resolve to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and accountability at Tema Oil Refinery (TOR).
According to him, these efforts are essential in repositioning TOR as a leading force in Ghana’s industrial and energy transformation.
Mr Kombat further stated that the refinery remains fully aligned with the government’s vision of transforming State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) into strong engines of economic growth and shared prosperity. He added that TOR is well-positioned to play a central role in advancing Ghana’s economic future.
