Police arrest suspect over Adjin Kotoku Onion Market shooting
The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting incident at the Adjin Kotoku Onion Market on April 5, 2026.
According to police, a team of surveillance officers operating under the Special Operations Assistant to the Inspector General of Police was deployed to the area after the disturbance to carry out an intelligence-led operation.
The suspect, identified as Inusah Seidu, aged 40, was arrested on April 8 at about 3 PM at his hideout in Adjin Kotoku. He is believed to have been involved in the shooting.
Police say the suspect is currently in custody assisting with investigations.
Efforts are ongoing to track down and arrest other individuals linked to the incident.
