The Minister for the Interior and Member of Parliament for Asawase, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, is set to present desks to selected schools and distribute start-up equipment to apprentices in the Asokore Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region. The initiative, scheduled for Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Adukrom School Park, forms part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure and empower young people with practical skills.

The intervention is expected to address shortages of classroom furniture while also providing tools to support vocational training for master craftsmen and apprentices.

Organisers say the programme aims to enhance learning conditions for students and promote skills development as a pathway to employment and economic empowerment within the community.
