Margins ID Group marks Cyber Security Month with awareness workshop on data protection
As part of activities to mark Cyber Security Awareness Month, Margins ID Group has held an insightful Cyber Security and Data Protection Workshop to reinforce the importance of safeguarding personal and organisational information in the digital age.
The session highlighted practical steps individuals and employees can take to strengthen digital security, including the use of strong passwords, multi-factor authentication, and exercising caution when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks or using shared USB devices.
Speaking at the workshop, company officials emphasised that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility, and maintaining a secure digital environment begins with personal vigilance.
“Every action counts when it comes to keeping our systems and data safe.
From daily password hygiene to identifying phishing attempts, we all play a vital role in protecting our digital ecosystem,” a statement from Margins ID Group noted.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the highest standards of data protection, staying proactive against emerging cyber threats, and continuously educating its workforce and stakeholders on best practices in cybersecurity.
