NAC Breda decline contract options for Ghana's Andre Ayew and Denis Odoi following relegation
Following their relegation from the Dutch Eredivisie, NAC Breda have decided not to trigger the second-year contract options for Ghana internationals Andre Dede Ayew and Denis Odoi.
The club finished 17th in the 18-team table during the 2025-26 campaign, resulting in an immediate return to the second tier.
Both players joined the club during the season, with Odoi signing in November 2025 and Ayew arriving as a free agent in January 2026. Odoi made 19 defensive appearances, while Ayew featured 16 times and scored one goal.
The decision ends their brief tenures in the Netherlands as NAC Breda look to reshape their squad for the second division.
Both players were part of Ghana's 2022 World Cup squad, and Ayew is reportedly in contention for a recall ahead of the 2026 tournament.
