SIC Insurance MD visits UEW to strengthen academia-industry collaboration
The Managing Director(MD) of SIC Insurance PLC, Mr James Agyenim-Boateng, has led a delegation of senior executives on a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education Winneba in the Central Region, Stephen Jobson Mitchual.
The visit, which forms part of the company’s ongoing regional tour, provided a platform for discussions on potential areas of collaboration between academia and industry.
Both parties explored ways to strengthen partnerships aimed at developing skilled talent and supporting national growth through knowledge sharing and innovation.
Officials indicated that such engagements are key to bridging the gap between education and industry, ensuring that graduates are better prepared for the job market.
The MD on his part, reaffirmed the company's commitment to building strong relationships with key institutions across the country, positioning itself as a strategic partner in Ghana’s development agenda.
