Black Sherif and King Promise dominate Ghanaian Music streams in the U.S, says DJ
American DJ and music producer Roger Beats has revealed that Ghanaian artists Black Sherif and King Promise are currently the most-streamed Ghanaian musicians in the United States.
In an interview with Hitz FM, Roger Beats highlighted that, based on mainstream listening trends in America, these two artists consistently top the charts.
He stressed that his observations are backed by data from streaming platforms and radio play, not just fan popularity.
“Right now, the artists who are getting the most attention are Black Sherif and King Promise.
You can verify this through the numbers—they dominate mainstream listening,” he explained.
Roger Beats emphasised his neutral stance, clarifying that his remarks are based on factual statistics rather than personal preference.
“I’m not speaking as a fan; I’m just looking at the numbers.
Radio and streaming data don’t lie,” he added.
The DJ also pointed out the growing influence of Ghanaian music in the U.S., suggesting that if Ghanaian artists collaborated, they could potentially perform at major venues like Madison Square Garden.
“There’s a significant Ghanaian community in America.
If more artists teamed up, they could even fill stadiums,” he said.
