Fameye declares Kuami Eugene untouchable among Ghana’s young artists
Ghanaian musician Fameye has described fellow artiste Kuami Eugene as being in a class of his own, insisting that no young musician in Ghana currently matches his “G.O.A.T level.”
Speaking during an interview on Joy Prime on April 16, 2026, Fameye praised Kuami Eugene’s consistency, hit-making ability, and influence within the music industry.
According to him, Kuami Eugene stands out as a “rock star” whose achievements set him apart from his peers. He noted that while many young artistes are doing well, none have reached the same level of impact and success.
Fameye highlighted Kuami Eugene’s impressive catalogue of hit songs and his contribution to other artistes through collaborations, saying these accomplishments reinforce his dominance in the industry.
He also acknowledged that despite facing criticism and backlash over the years, Kuami Eugene has remained resilient and continues to receive blessings and success.
Fameye further revealed that he has visited Kuami Eugene’s studio several times and described him as a caring individual who looks out for others in the industry.
“Sometimes he may say things that people may not agree with, but that’s normal—we all have our flaws,” he added.
