E/R: MP’s aide killed, 3 critically injured in Oda–Nkwanta road crash
A tragic road accident on the Oda–Oda Nkwanta stretch has claimed the life of Kofi Nti, a personal aide to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Akyem Oda, Alexander Akwasi Acquah.
The fatal crash occurred while Kofi Nti and the driver of an NPP-branded pickup vehicle were on their way to monitor ongoing NPP polling station elections at Oda Nkwanta.
The incident involved a head-on collision between two vehicles, leaving three other persons seriously injured; they are currently battling for their lives at hospital.
This incident adds to a growing number of fatal crashes recorded in the Eastern Region in recent weeks, including a recent accident that claimed the life of the former Eastern Regional Coordinator of the Free SHS Secretariat.
Kofi Nti, who was widely known within party circles for his dedication and service, is survived by his wife and children.
Authorities are yet to release further details on the cause of the accident as investigations continue.
