May Day: Central Regional Minister urges workers to reject illegal mining, deforestation
The Central Regional Minister, Ekow Panyin Eduamoah Okyere, has called on workers in the region to change their attitude towards illegal mining and deforestation, citing their environmental impact.
He made the remarks at the 2026 May Day celebration held at Ajumako in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District.
