STC denies fare increase, urges public to disregard rumours
Management of Intercity STC Coaches Limited (STC) has dismissed reports suggesting an increase in transport fares, assuring passengers that prices remain unchanged.
In a statement issued on April 9, 2026, the company clarified that it has not implemented any fare adjustments and continues to operate in line with directives from the Ministry of Transport Ghana.
ISTC emphasised that any future fare changes would be carried out only with the approval of the appropriate regulatory authorities.
The company expressed appreciation to its customers for their continued trust and loyalty, reiterating its commitment to delivering quality and reliable transport services.
It further urged the public to disregard any rumours circulating about fare increases, describing them as false.
