A/R: 38 Nigerian nationals arrested in Kumasi; hotel shut down after sanitation operation
Thirty-eight Nigerian nationals suspected of engaging in prostitution have been arrested at Anidaso Hotel in Asafo.
The arrests followed a sanitation operation led by the Mayor of Kumasi, Ofori Agyemang Boadi, during which condoms were found in a nearby gutter.

Speaking to Kumasi FM’s Elisha Adarkwah, the Mayor said the items were traced to the hotel, where the suspects were found.
The suspects have been handed over to the Ghana Immigration Service for screening and further action.
The Mayor added that the hotel has been temporarily shut down pending the submission of required documentation by its owner.
