KNUST shifts academic calendar following new date for Law School entrance exams
The Faculty of Law at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in the Ashanti Region has announced adjustments to its academic calendar for final year students following the rescheduling of the Ghana School of Law entrance examinations.
In a memo issued by the Faculty Registrar on April 24, 2026, students were informed that the Ghana Legal Council, through its Independent Examination Committee (IEC), has set a new date of July 31, 2026, for the entrance exams.
As a result, the Faculty has revised its examination timetable to accommodate the change.
The end-of-second-semester examinations for final year students will now take place from Monday, May 25 to Friday, June 5, 2026.
The Faculty has advised all affected students to take note of the updated schedule and make the necessary preparations ahead of both their university examinations and the Law School entrance exams.
The memo was also copied to the Acting Dean and the Faculty Examination Officer.
