Vice President extends best wishes to BECE candidates
The Office of the Vice President has conveyed best wishes to candidates sitting for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
In a statement issued on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the Jubilee House, the Vice President, Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, encouraged students to approach the examination with confidence, honesty and determination.
The statement expressed confidence that candidates would give their best after years of preparation, discipline and effort.
It also commended the Ghana Education Service, teachers, parents and other stakeholders for their roles in preparing students for the examination.
The Vice President further urged supervisors, invigilators and school authorities to uphold fairness and transparency to ensure a credible process and outcome.
The statement was signed by Ama Pratt, Press Secretary and Spokesperson at the Office of the Vice President.
