McBrown opens up on life at 50: “I’ll travel the world and live full Ghanaian actress and TV host Nana Ama McBrown has stirred conversation online after sharing heartfelt thoughts about her life and what she plans to do in the future.

Speaking on Onua Show Time on April 27, 2026, she reflected on her journey, the struggles she has faced, and how those experiences have shaped her perspective on life.

According to McBrown, turning 50 will signal a bold new phase in her life—one that may surprise many.

“When I reach 50, the things I’ll do will shock people,” she revealed.

She admitted that her path hasn’t been easy but credits her strength and progress to God’s grace.

“I’ve been through a lot, and I’m still here today because of God’s mercy,” she said.

McBrown also praised young creatives for using social media as a tool to promote their work and build their brands.

Looking ahead, she made it clear that she will be more selective about the voices she listens to.

“From age 50 and beyond, I won’t entertain everyone. Some people will be upset, but I’ll know who truly means well and who doesn’t,” she explained.

She added that with age comes wisdom, which will help her separate genuine advice from jealousy.

“I’ll only listen to people who guide me well. Anyone who speaks to me disrespectfully like a child—I won’t tolerate that,” she stressed.

The actress further shared her desire to embrace life to the fullest in her later years, including travelling and exploring new opportunities.

“I want to enjoy life more, see the world, discover new places, and make the most of every moment. Life hasn’t been easy, and people will always have something to say,” she noted.

She also touched on how much the media space has changed since she began her career, highlighting how today’s digital platforms have made it easier for individuals to promote themselves.

“Back then, things were very different. Now, with TV and social media everywhere, people have more opportunities to do things on their own,” she added
