GTEC confirms authenticity of Samuel Jantuah’s PhD degree
The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has confirmed that a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree awarded to Samuel Kwadwo Jantuah by Unicaf University Zambia is authentic and comparable to similar qualifications issued by recognised institutions in Ghana.
In an official communication addressed to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), GTEC stated that the PhD in Business submitted for evaluation meets the required standards and is equivalent to a PhD awarded in the relevant subject area within Ghana’s tertiary education system.
The Commission noted that any additional verification regarding the attestation can be obtained directly from its office.
GTEC also reiterated that it now serves as the regulatory body for tertiary education in Ghana following the merger of the National Accreditation Board (NAB) and the National Council for Tertiary Education (NCTE) under the Education Regulatory Bodies Act, 2020 (Act 1023).
The confirmation provides official validation of the qualification for academic and professional purposes.
