NDC Youth leadership tour reaches Bono Region with focus on party strengthening
Chairman of the Committee, Okai Mintah, led the delegation in a series of engagements with youth organisers and party representatives in the region.
The visit featured a meeting with constituency and regional youth organisers, where discussions focused on strategies to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures and improve effectiveness among youth leaders.Participants engaged in open dialogue on party organisation, mobilisation, and the role of young people in advancing the NDC’s agenda at both regional and national levels.
The delegation expressed appreciation to the Bono Regional Minister, Joseph Addae Akwaboa, for hosting the team, as well as to regional youth organisers and their deputies for coordinating the event.
Speaking after the engagement, Mr. Mintah commended the enthusiasm and commitment of youth leaders in the region, emphasising the importance of unity and collaboration in strengthening the party’s presence.He also thanked constituency youth organisers, their deputies, and other youth representatives for their active participation.
As part of the visit, the delegation attended a wedding ceremony in Nkrankwanta for Afram Priscilla, a youth representative in the Dormaa West Constituency.The event was also attended by the Member of Parliament for Dormaa West, Vincent Asamoah Oppong, alongside party supporters.
The nationwide tour is expected to continue in other regions as the National Youth Working Committee intensifies efforts to consolidate support and enhance grassroots engagement ahead of future political activities.Source: Classfmonline.com/Cecil MENSAH
