Gov't lauds NIB's digital milestone, urges citizens to embrace new mobile platform
The Deputy Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Mr. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, has hailed the National Investment Bank's (NIB) launch of its mobile application and Ubuntu initiative as a significant boost to Ghana's digitalisation agenda.
Delivering a speech at the launch event, Mr. Sukparu emphasised that the NIB mobile app is more than just a banking tool, but a gateway to financial empowerment, enabling individuals and businesses to transact seamlessly, safely, and securely.
The Deputy Minister commended the NIB for its efforts, stating that the initiative aligns with the government's goal of building a 24-hour economy driven entirely by technology.
He urged citizens and businesses to take advantage of the new platform, emphasising the importance of security and customer care.
"The Ubuntu initiative serves as a vital reminder that humanity and empathy must remain fundamentally at the heart of service delivery," Mr. Sukparu said, adding that the combination of technological innovation and humanistic values will set NIB apart and establish it as a trusted partner in Ghana's economic transformation.
